Dermot is a native of Co Waterford who studied agricultural science at University College Dublin before obtaining an MS in equine nutrition at the University of Kentucky.
He has served on numerous industry boards and committees and is currently a member of the board of Goffs Bloodstock Sales, Chairman of Irish Thoroughbred Marketing and Chair of Naas Racecourse.
Outside Thoroughbred racing and breeding Dermot is a passionate follower of Munster rugby and Waterford hurling and enjoys reading about all aspects of social history.
Meta is a Kildare native and a veterinary surgeon. Her particular interest is in equinere production and she has recently completed an MSc in animal welfare, ethics and law at the University of Edinburgh.
She has held senior roles on both veterinary and bodies and is a Director of the Irish National Stud and a guest lecturer in animal welfare at University College Dublin.
Away from work and racing, Meta enjoys reading. She also co-produces a podcast, Changing Rein, looking at horse-human interactions and the sustainability of horse sport.
Ian Thompson is originally from Manchester, England. After completing an honours degree in Maths with Finance at Leeds University, Ian worked at Mapperley Stud, New Zealand for six years, where he was Stud Manager.
Outside racing Ian enjoys a round of golf, and supports Manchester United(though his heart is really with Rochdale AFC!)
A graduate of Trinity College, Dublin (where he was Auditor of the TCD Horse Racing Society) Jack is a qualified solicitor and carries out pedigree analysis and research for Tinnakill Bloodstock.
In 2019 Jack established Syndicates.Racing to encourage fractional ownership of racehorses. He also helps with the Tinnakill consignments at the major sales.
Away from horses he is a keen sports fan, with a particular interest in rugby, golf and GAA.
